In Search of the Shining Trapezohedron

Within the Necronomicon Current, we find different artifacts that allow us to come into contact with different planes, entities, and gods of the current. One of them is the Shining Trapezoid, said object does not reside on the physical plane, but between the planes and it is possible to access it through altered states of consciousness. The Shining shining trapezohedron is an item that appears in various Lovecraft stories, and many of these stories are closely tied to the cults of Nyarlathotep, the Voice, and the Messenger of the Great Old Ones.

Nyarlathotep is a deity of multiple masks and costumes and is one of the first gods we encountered when we began our work with the Necronomicon Current. This artifact allows us to see beyond and connect with these primal beings. In itself, the Shining shining trapezohedron is a window to all times and all spaces, and according to the stories of Lovecraft and his followers, it was created on the planet Yuggoth (Pluto) and brought to earth by the Great Old Ones. Another reference that we find is that it can be found in the Labyrinths of the Kish, another space between the dimensions, where Nyarlathotep reigns together with his consort Queen Nitocris, once again, the magician will be able to access said space through the astral journey.

There are countless methods or ways to work with the Necronomicon Current, each magician must find his own, many are inspired by different apocryphal grimoires such as De Vermis Mysteriis, Al-Azif, The Book of Dagon, etc. And others are inspired by the stories of Lovecraft and his followers, all are just tools that help us inspire us to create our rituals and ways of contact with the Great Old Ones. But beyond the ritual aspects, here we will focus on an astral/dream work.

Working with the Necronomicon Current is always demanding, and requires the magician to have his astral senses well developed since many of the messages received by the primal gods are symbols or cryptic messages, many appear in dreams and take the form of horrible nightmares, others when the magician enters altered states of consciousness through rituals, invocations, scrying, etc.

The following work is inspired by my work with the Necronomicon Current and the Shining shining trapezohedron. Open your mind and enjoy this work…

In Search of the Shining Trapezohedron

-A Meditation-

You are at the entrance of an onyx crystal castle, the peaks of its many towers are lost in the stormy clouds. The entrance is a huge unconventional black door, on each of its sides, there are two guardians but they remain motionless and would seem to be part of the scenery. They are beings that you cannot see their faces, you only get to see that they are huge. They are the ones who open the portals to the castle and allow you to pass. You walk into the castle and you find a large hall, the architecture of the place is completely bizarre, not Euclidean, the floors are chess. Two stairs connect and lead you up. You can see around you a lot of mirrors with misshapen crows. If you look at them you will see that they are windows towards other planes and other dimensions, just as you can see between the planes, the inhabitants of these planes can also see you. You go up the stairs and the stage changes, now you are upside down and what was once the floor is now a mirror. The mirror devours you, now you find yourself swimming in a dense and infinite mass of blackness. You continue in this abyss of blackness for a few moments, your astral senses awaken and you can see a glow of violet light, you get closer, when you are closer you notice that it is a large trapezoid with angles without harmony, the trapezoid shines with more intensity and rotates on its axis. Now you are on the threshold of the void, and in front of you is the Shining Trapezohedron. Whisper Boxebo’s name and ask him to show you how to look between planes and dimensions, beyond time and space.
